At Harrowbarrow Primary Academy, we all have a responsibility to act if we are worried about a child. All children have a right to be safe no matter who they are or what their circumstance.

At Harrowbarrow Primary Academy, the context of the school means that staff training considers safeguarding children in a rural area, understanding that concerns may be raised right from pre-school age and involves working very closely with other agencies, such as Early Help Hub and the Police. Staff are vigilant when visitors are on site and of security measures relevant to the school's physical layout and location. All visitors MUST report to the site office to sign in.
The school has Level 3 safeguarding trained staff.
